Power Book IV: Force is well underway, and so is the struggle for power between brothers Diamond Sampson (Isaac Keys) and his younger brother Jenard (Kris D Lofton).
Digital Spy exclusively sat down with Isaac Keys and discussed his character Diamond's tricky relationship with his brother Jenard, who seems to be gunning for his older brother's seat as the leader of the Chicago Brothers Incorporated (CBI).

Episode 3 of the Power spin-off revealed Jenard's true intentions for his brother Diamond – and it's not looking good for the CBI leader. Discussing whether Diamond is aware of his brother's mission to seize the leadership of the CBI from under Diamond, Isaac Keys reveals that Diamond isn't.
"Diamond is not aware. Diamond is – his brother is who he's always taking care of, he's always you know, that was his main focus coming up and he didn't want his brother in the game.

"He wanted his brother going to live his own life, but unfortunately, Diamond also had a lot of pride in and equity into Chicago Brothers Incorporated, CBI. And when he had to get locked down, he looked at his brother and was like, 'I need you to manage this. I need you to keep this going until I'm out because this is what I know, this is what I built, and I built it for us, but I didn't want you to be a part of it'."

The Jurassic World actor explains the possible reasons behind his brother Jenard's actions saying: "That internal struggle of his brother having to, you know, eventually kind of maybe change his life, his trajectory of where his life was going to look after something, and then when Diamond gets out, him wanting his position back.
"And now you have two alpha males just kind of going, but let alone not just alpha males, they're brothers. And you'll always know, there's always competition amongst brothers. And I think there's a lot of competition amongst them internally.
"I think Diamond, he doesn't know. He just wants to love his brother, but his type of love and his appreciation is maybe not being received in the manner that needs to be, by the way Jenard needs to see it."
