Wrestling drama Heels recently wrapped up its first season and while a second is yet to be confirmed, rumours are already circulating.
The Starz show follows two rival brothers, played by Arrow's Stephen Amell and Vikings' Alexander Ludwig, who are warring over their late father's wrestling promotion in small-town Georgia.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Amell and Ludwig opened up about whether a second season is on the cards.
"I certainly hope so," Amell revealed. "I know that I didn’t sign a contract for just one season. We’ve had a lot of support thus far from Starz and Lionsgate.

"The professional and financial commitment that they had to make to the show in order to get it done, you know, in the midst of probably the worst part of the pandemic, was extraordinary.

"We certainly leave this season in a position where you want to know more. Frankly, I think this really plays like chapter one of something. So fingers crossed that people like it, and that we can get back to work."
The eight-episode first season premiered back in August on Starz in the US and on StarzPlay through Amazon Prime Video in the UK, with the season finale airing on Sunday (October 10).

Amell plays Jack Spade, a 'heel' in the wrestling league, while Ludwig plays Ace Spade, Jack's younger brother and a 'face' in the league.
"Oh, man. I mean, honestly, if I were a betting man, I'd say we were going to have another season – and then some," Ludwig said.
"I think that wrestling is such a funny one. It's got such a mass appeal, actually beyond America. So in Japan, it's really big, and in all these other places in the world. I don't think there's any limit to where the show could go.
"And I always think about it similarly to Vikings. With Vikings, we started really small, and I wasn't even a part of it at the beginning. And then suddenly, you see this world build out massively. So my hope for this is, that's what will happen."

So, fans can keep their fingers crossed that a second season will be confirmed soon.
