American Horror Story made its return to screens in the US last month with latest season Double Feature.
This time, the theme has been split into two halves. Part 1: Red Tide marks season 10's opening six episodes and takes place "by the sea", while Part 2: Death Valley will comprise the final four episodes and takes place "by the sand".
Now, actress Leslie Grossman, who has been an AHS regular since 2017's Cult and plays a role in both parts of Double Feature, has explained how Red Tide and Death Valley connect to one another.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Grossman said that there are "threads" that will become clear to fans as season 10 progresses.
She added that there are also many Easter Eggs to watch out for in the episodes, just like in previous seasons, as well as references to the wider AHS universe.

When Part 1: Red Tide premiered on August 25, the show used the opportunity to release a teaser trailer for Part 2: Death Valley.
Part 1 centres on struggling writer Harry Gardner (Finn Wittrock), his pregnant wife Doris (Lily Rabe) and their daughter Alma (Ryan Kiera Armstrong) as they move to an isolated beach town in Massachusetts for the winter, but Part 2 appears to be about something a lot more extraterrestrial.

The trailer shows President Dwight D Eisenhower (Neal McDonough) approaching a strange, levitating woman in a 1950s hospital and supervising an alien autopsy. It also shows us a glimpse at Nico Greetham and Kaia Gerber's characters in the present day, petrified by something we can't actually see.
Also starring in Part 2 is Cody Fern, who made his AHS debut in 2018's Apocalypse, plus Rebecca Dayan and Rachel Hilson.
Part 1's cast also includes Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter and Macaulay Culkin. Just like Grossman, Sarah Paulson and Angelica Ross will appear in both halves of the season.
American Horror Story: Double Feature airs on FX in the US and will arrive in October on Disney+ in the UK. Catch up on series 1-8 on Netflix, with seasons 1-9 available to buy on Amazon Prime Video.
