Outer Banks is bringing back Pogues and the Kooks on Netflix this summer.
The streaming service has unveiled a first-look trailer as part of its Geeked Week, which confirms that the teen drama series will be back for its second season on Friday, July 30.

And judging by the brief montage in the teaser, John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah (Madelyn Cline) have not given up on finding the gold treasure while on the run in the Bahamas.

Back on the Outer Banks, the Pogues are struggling with how they're going to move on without their leader, since the whole community thought John B and Sarah were killed at sea last season.
Here's the official Netflix synopsis for the show: "The $400M is still in the game, but will the uncovering of a new-found secret reunite the group for a fresh mission?
"The adventure of a lifetime awaits, but uncharted waters ahead mean our Pogues must do all they can to make it out alive.”
"Season two is going to test our crew like never before," producers Jonas Pate, Josh Pate and Shannon Burke have also announced. "We’ve turned up the dial on everything fans loved about season one – more mystery, more romance and higher stakes.
"It’s a full-throttle, action-packed adventure and these photos offer a glimpse into the next chapter for our Pogues. All we can say for now is buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride."
It's been a big week for fans of Outer Banks, since star Madelyn Cline has also signed on for a major role in Netflix's upcoming Knives Out sequel with Daniel Craig, Kate Hudson, Army of the Dead and Marvel's Dave Bautista, Hamilton's Leslie Odom Jr, WandaVision's Kathryn Hahn, The Incredible Hulk's Edward Norton and Homecoming's Janelle Monáe.
