One of the MCU's most beloved characters has finally got their own TV series with Marvel's Loki, and it's coming to Disney+ on Wednesday, June 9.
Originally announced in November 2018, the highly-anticipated show sees Tom Hiddleston reprise his role as the devious god Loki, Thor's brother. Sharing continuity with the Marvel films, Loki takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, where an alternate version of the character created a new timeline.
The show follows the aftermath of Loki stealing the Tesseract. This new, alternate version of the God of Mischief is brought to a group of timeline monitors known as the Time Variance Authority – it's here he's tasked with either helping them fix the timeline or face being erased from existence.

The show is created by Michael Waldron (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) and directed by Kate Herron (Sex Education), and also stars Owen Wilson as Mobius, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Lexus Renslayer and Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, as well as Richard E Grant, Sophia Di Martino and Sasha Lane in other roles.
Loki has six episodes and is part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – full of time-travel shenanigans and history being altered, Loki will release episodes weekly with the first episode premiering June 9 on Disney+.
