The CW's All American series has landed itself a spin-off with All American: Homecoming.
Nkechi Okoro Carroll, who worked on the original series, is heading up the new tale, with Warner Bros boss Channing Dungey claiming they've taken "all of the elements that work so incredibly well on the original series and has spun off into something that is even more exciting."
So how exactly does the show differ? And when can we see it on our screens?

All American: Homecoming release date: When will it air?
All American: Homecoming season one is launching on Monday, February 21, 2022.
This comes after the pilot aired in July 2021, as part of All American season three.

Like its predecessor, Homecoming will air weekly on The CW, and will be available to stream the next day on The CW's app.
Unfortunately, a release date for the UK is not yet known, and it's uncertain when it will arrive, considering All American doesn't have one either.
All American: Homecoming cast: Who's in it?
All American's Geffri Maya (Simone Hicks) will star, alongside Peyton Alex Smith (Legacies), Kelly Jenrette (Manhunt: Unabomber), Cory Hardrict (SWAT), Sylvester Powell (Jessie "JR" Raymond in All American), Netta Walker (Chicago Fire) and Camille Hyde (Katy Keene).
"I've really been trying to find the words to say... All I can think about is the opportunity to encourage & celebrate black excellence," wrote Maya on Instagram. "Going to an HBCU is one thing— creating a show honouring the legacy of halls built for us, by us, by those with purpose & dreams BIGGER than their own...I have endless gratitude for this moment."
All American: Homecoming plot: What's it about?
It appears there's a love triangle on the horizon, with Simone arriving at college and immediately finding herself attracted Bringston baseball player Damon Sims, who lives in her dorm block.
This might be trouble-in-the-making regarding Jordan, who's missing her back home.
But both Damon and Simone have bigger fish to fry as they deal with the competitive nature of college sports.
Damon has been tipped as the new face of HBCU baseball, Simone finds herself with a new competitor in the shape of star tennis player, Thea.
Is there an All American: Homecoming trailer?
The All American: Homecoming trailer made its debut in December 2021, and teased some massive things to come for Simone and the team at large.
Mini-spoiler: It's a whole lot of drama.
Soon, Simone is hitting up sorority parties, and Damon is beginning to panic about the pressure that he's quickly put under to become the big baseball star.
