Love Life has announced The Good Place star William Jackson Harper has replaced Scott Pilgrim vs the World and Pitch Perfect actress Anna Kendrick as the lead for season 2.

But that doesn't mean Anna will be going anywhere, as she's an executive producer on the show and her character Darby will still be popping up.

The shake-up is because this series in an anthology, so every season follows a different lead character in their quest for love.

As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Jackson Harper will play another unlucky in love New Yorker.

The season will begin with him ending a relationship he'd been in for years and thought was going to last for many more. He decides to embark on the tumultuous waters of modern dating.

Earlier this year, Anna Kendrick appeared in Dummy, a series about a woman who discovers her boyfriend (based on Rick and Morty's Dan Harmon) was cheating with on her with a sex doll. It ran on streaming service Quibi, which shut down six months after launch.

The actress also recently opened up about up filming the Twilight movies, claiming that she only auditioned for it to get on a casting director's radar, and once she was cast she found the experience to be like a "hostage situation".
