Lucifer season 5 showrunner teases Deckerstar future

Lucifer season 5 showrunner Ildy Modrovich has sent fans delirious with her latest tease.

Production on the newest batch of devilish episodes is currently delayed, due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this has given Twitter users a chance to bombard the show bosses with questions about romancers 'Deckerstar' (Chloe Decker and Lucifer Morningstar).

One wrote earlier this week: "Ildy, could you PLEAAASE describe any Deckerstar scene from s5 in 3 emojis?".

Adhering to these set rules, Modrovich responded with emojis of a key, a fist and a kiss – but what do they represent?

Well, according to one Twitter fan in the comment section, it could mean: "Open the doors to heaven, then Chloe punches God for what he's done to Lucifer, and they kiss."

"On a serious note, first thing in mind is Chloe is the key to Lucifer's resistance/doubts/acceptance towards his redemption and then, endgame," someone else suggested.

Meanwhile, another fan of the show presented their solution, explaining: "Everybody keeps saying Lucifer rescues Chloe from something, but what if it's Chloe rescuing Lucifer?

"She figures a way to lock up Hell forever, fights off a bunch of demons, and drags him back to the penthouse for naked cuddle time. Possibly punching him in the face first."
