Scrubs has now been off our screens for an entire decade and so naturally some fans have asked whether the popular hospital-based comedy-drama could ever make a comeback.
Star Sarah Chalke, who played Elliot Reid during all nine seasons of Scrubs, has just brought us one step closer to a reunion, because she's revealed that she'd love to head back to Sacred Heart.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy about her role in Rick and Morty she confirmed that she's keen to step back into Elliot's shoes, saying: "I would absolutely be up for it."
"I mean, we had such a great time," she said. "Most of my 20s was on that show. It was one of those magical situations where everything kind of came together. It's so rare where you love the part, and the show, and the people, and we had a blast making it.

"I think that, you know, maybe what Zach [Braff, who played John Michael 'J.D.' Dorian] and Bill [Lawrence, the show's creator] have alluded to and have talked about is like... because everybody's off in different directions, maybe it'd be doing something like what Psych did – by doing kind of a reunion that was a two-hour movie, or something like that, for TV.

"And right now, Zach and Donald [Faison, who played Christopher Turk] are doing the podcasting doctors, which is super funny. I've loved listening to it – I've done it with them once – and just hearing the stories from 20 years ago.
"It's crazy that it was two decades ago. But so much of it, you know, you forget. So that's been really fun to reminisce and think about."
A decade is a long time and if Scrubs made a comeback some changes would be inevitable – so what does the actress think the show would look like now? It'll come as no surprise to hear that she reckons the current coronavirus pandemic would be featured.

"I think in 2020, that would be fun, to see where all those characters are, and what stage they're at," she said. "I don't think you could do an episode of Scrubs in 2020 without referencing the pandemic."
Chalke also told Digital Spy her feelings on that huge Rick and Morty fan theory that her character Beth Smith has actually been a clone for some time, saying she thinks it is "dealt with in such an amazing way in season 4".
Rick and Morty season 4 airs Sundays on Adult Swim in the US, and airs in the UK on E4 and All 4 on Thursdays.
