Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover has confirmed that another major Smallville star will be joining the cast.
Entertainment Weekly reported on Friday (September 20) that Erica Durance will be reprising her role as Lois Lane, meaning she'll be reunited with her former Smallville castmate Tom Welling, who'll be returning as Superman/Clark Kent.
The crossover event – which will bring together Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman – will reveal what the on-screen couple have been up to in the past decade since the end of Smallville.

Durance won't be the only Lois Lane in the five-episode event, however. Elizabeth Tulloch, who made her debut in last year's Elseworlds crossover, will be playing her own version of the character for Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Similarly, Welling will be one of three different versions of Superman in the crossover, joined by Tyler Hoechlin and Brandon Routh.
While Welling is new to The CW's Arrowverse, Durance previously took over the role of Kara Zor-El's (Melissa Benoist) mother Alura from Laura Benanti in the third season of Supergirl.
What to Read Next
Crisis on Infinite Earths premieres on December 8 with the Supergirl episode, followed by Batwoman on December 9 and The Flash on December 10. Post-Christmas, the series will then conclude with Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow straight after on January 14.
