According to Supernatural boss Andrew Dabb, broadcaster The CW probably doesn't have "an appetite" for a spin-off show.
Set to end with its upcoming 15th season, the team behind Supernatural graced the stage at San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, but do they plan to reunite on-screen at some point?

Speaking to Digital Spy and other media, Dabb was asked if a spin-off series was on the horizon.
"I highly doubt it," he said. "In five years, who knows? Everything's getting repacked at some point. [But] a spin-off in the way we've tried it in the past? I don't know that this network has an appetite for that. Whether we agree or disagree with that, that's a choice they've made."
Dabb previously worked on a pilot episode for a spin-off titled Supernatural: Bloodlines, but this was eventually scrapped by the broadcaster, as well as another idea known as Wayward Sisters.

But the showrunner sees this as a positive thing for the end of Supernatural, because he said: "It allows us to end the story in the way we want to end the story.
"We don't have to end it but make sure there's more to go for these [certain] characters – we can really do a true ending, and that's exciting."
Supernatural airs on The CW in the UK and on E4 in the UK.
