During the Supernatural panel at Comic-Con, the guys who made it out there had their say on Game of Thrones' final season backlash.

HBO's epic swords and sorcery series will probably go down in history for its divisive conclusion, so it's no surprise to see other TV projects referencing it when discussing their own final episodes.

But don't worry, it's all tongue-in-cheek here.

Showrunner Andrew Dabb described ending Supernatural as "really exciting and scary", before adding "about 30% of people will be really happy".

Jared Padalecki (who plays Sam Winchester) replied: "So 7 out of 10 of everybody is going to be pissed off?"

"You thought [the] Game of Thrones [response] was angry!" joked actor Rob Benedict (Chuck Shurley), which quickly provoked huge roars from the SDCC crowd.

Meanwhile, Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau previously shared a sarcastic response to the show's backlash (and *that* petition).

"Of course HBO are going to change the whole thing," Nikolaj, who played Jaime Lannister, joked. "That's the power of the internet".
