Oliver Queen visits some literal ghosts from his past in the trailer for Arrow's eighth and final season.

The first-look footage from Comic-Con International begins ominously with a flashback to The Monitor sharing the prophecy of Ollie's death – along with a flash to the 2019 date on the Green Arrow's tombstone.

After a look back at his many heroic fights, there are highlights from seemingly otherworldly adventures to come this season as Oliver once again faces off with long-gone faces from his past like Tommy Merlyn, Deathstroke and Prometheus.

In the end, Oliver admits: "There's just one more thing I got to do."

In addition to the trailer, it was announced at Comic-Con on Saturday that Russian Doll star Charlie Barnett will be joining Arrow this year as… John Diggle Jr (aka the adult JJ)! Shouldn't that be interesting?!

Earlier this week, showrunner Beth Schwartz revealed the entirety of Arrow's final season will be building up to the world-merging events of 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' – as evidenced by the time-travel theme of the trailer and premiere title.

"Everything relates to what's going to happen in our crossover episode, which we've never done before," Schwartz told EW.

Following Emily Bett Rickards' departure from the series last year, Arrow has been beefing up by adding Katherine McNamara (aka Ollie and Felicity's future daughter Mia Smoak), Joseph David-Jones (aka Connor Hawke) and Ben Lewis (Ollie's grown son William Clayton) to the main cast.

Oliver's world-bending travels will also make it possible for those aforementioned former cast members Colin Donnell (Tommy Merlyn) and Josh Segarra (Adrian Chase) to return as well.
