Mad Men star Jon Hamm has revealed why there won't be a spin-off of the show.
Unlike shows like Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad, there's been absolutely no word of a spin-off series for Mad Men since it decisively concluded four years ago.
However, Hamm isn't surprised by the lack of a spin-off, claiming the cast and crew are happy with the way the story ended.

Speaking to Metro, he said: "I don't think the desire is there from the executive standpoint down. I think we were all pretty happy with how the story ended.
"I don't think there's anyone in the cast that wanted to spin it off or revisit it. I don't think [creator] Matthew Weiner wants to either. He's pleased with how he finished up that chapter.
What to Read Next
Hamm went on to explain that he and the other cast members have moved on with their careers, adding that the story has come to its "logical conclusion".
"It's time to close the book and move on. When you look at, whether it's me or Elizabeth [Moss], or [John] Slattery, Christina [Hendricks], everyone's kind of moved on to their own new different thing.
"That's the good part of being an actor, you don't have to do things over and over again. The story has come to its logical conclusion."
