Daredevil star Charlie Cox is backing a fan campaign to save the show after it was axed by Netflix last year.
Fans were gutted when the Marvel series, which debuted its third (and currently final) season in October, was unexpectedly dropped by the streaming service, very much against the wishes of the show's cast and crew.
Since then, fans have been campaigning hard and using the hashtag #SaveDaredevil to try and gain the attention of possible future networks for the series, such as Disney+. And now their efforts have been officially endorsed by Matt Murdock himself during a recent panel at ACE Comic Con.
"I found out the other day there's this petition, #SaveDaredevil," Cox said (via Comicbook.com). "You can sign it. Sign it!"

So far, the #SaveDaredevil petition has received more than 170,000 signatures.

However, getting a new broadcaster probably won't be an easy task, especially given fellow Marvel-based Netflix shows Luke Cage and Iron Fist have also been dropped, with The Punisher and Jessica Jones the only remaining programmes in the Netflix MCU block.
Nonetheless, during the same event, Cox also revealed he would love to reprise his character alongside the MCU Spider-Man, Tom Holland.

He added: "I really like the Daredevil/Spider-Man stuff in the comics, really fun.
"There’s one issue in particular where Matt Murdock proves that he’s not Daredevil because Daredevil shows up in the court room, and of course it’s Peter Parker wearing the Daredevil suit, which is such a lame alibi.
"But it would be so cool to do, you know, something like that. And I think Tom Holland is an amazing Spider-Man."
Set it up, Disney.
Daredevil seasons 1-3 are available to watch on Netflix.
