DC's streaming service is gearing up to launch its second original show, Doom Patrol, next year, and they've just dropped a first look clip.

The series is a spin-off of DC Universe's first show, Titans, featuring several characters introduced in that show returning to take the spotlight.

The Doom Patrol line-up consists of Elasti-Woman, Cyborg, Negative Man, Crazy Jane and Robotman, and this clip shows them all lining up for a holiday group photo:

DC has lined up a cast of geeky favourite actors to star, including former James Bond Timothy Dalton (as the group's leader, The Chief), Firefly and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story star Alan Tudyk (as living shadow Mr Negative), the good The Mummy films leading man Brendan Fraser and Magic Mike's Matt Bomer (as Robotman and Negative Man respectively).

As stated alongside the teaser, Doom Patrol will premiere on February 15, in the United States at least. It is expected to release new episodes until May.

Beyond Titans and Doom Patrol, the DC Universe service is also set to create a series based on Swamp Thing and Stargirl, both of which are due to premiere in 2019.

What to Read Next

There's also an animated Harley Quinn series planned, which is doing the whole 'superhero meta-humour' thing, due in mid-October.

Seeing as the UK doesn't have DC Universe, we'll keep you updated on when and where these shows will air.
