Don't tell Chandler Bing, but Monica Geller and Richard Burke – aka actors Courteney Cox and Tom Selleck – just had an impromptu Friends reunion and it was amazing.

The moment was caught on camera by Twitter user Claudia Oshry, who shared a video with her 13.9k followers of the accidental meeting along with the caption: "Spotted in NY: Dr. Richard Burke and Monica Geller saying hi to one another. Shook. What will Chandler say?"

In the video, the pair hug at the bar, before Courteney strokes Tom's arm and they proceed to have a chat. Is anyone getting series two flashbacks right now?

As you can imagine, Friends fans JUMPED on the footage – and some of the replies to the tweet are hilarious. "Could I BE any more excited????" one wrote, while another added: "THIS IS GOLD."

A third fan went deep with her feelings about the onscreen romance, revealing she was still reeling that Monica didn't end up with Richard but picked Chandler instead.

She commented: "I'll probably get ugly replies. However, I wish Monica & Richard would of gotten married instead. Richard was more mature for her as a man. Monica starting acting immature when she was with Chandler. Monica deserved better & that was not Chandler. (sic)"

The mini reunion comes as Jennifer Aniston revealed on The Late Late Show with James Corden just last week that while the female cast of Friends are up for a reunion show, the men are less keen.

"Listen, the girls always say we would love to do it again, and the boys are a little less excited about it for some reason, I don't know," she commented.

Damn. This will have to do for now, then.
