She was taken to hospital as a precaution and was diagnosed with a pulled ligament.

And with doctors ordering her to rest for four weeks and have physiotherapy, she won't be able to take part in any more episodes of The Jump.

"Sarah Harding has withdrawn from the competition on medical advice after pulling a ligament in her knee during training yesterday," a Channel 4 spokesperson told Digital Spy.

"She has been advised by medics to rest and will undergo physiotherapy. Sarah has been a great competitor and we wish her a speedy recovery."

It is not thought that she will be replaced by another celebrity.

Sarah is the sixth star to withdraw from this series of The Jump after Tina Hobley, Rebecca Adlington, Beth Tweddle, Mark-Francis Vandelli and Linford Christie were all forced to pull out.

Meanwhile, Louisa Lytton, Arg and replacement celebrity Joe Swash - who broke a bone in his shoulder during training - have all been eliminated.

The semi-final on Sunday will see the remaining seven celebrities - Ben Cohen, Brian McFadden, Dean Cain, Heather Mills, Sid Owen, Tamara Beckwith and Tom Parker - take on the intense ski cross event.

It all kicks off on Sunday (February 28) at 8pm on Channel 4.
