Meet Married At First Sight UK's cast of 2022
Time to get those wedding bells a-ringing.
It's that time of year again! Married At First Sight UK is back and bolder than ever with a potential eight new couples committing to their lives together.
But who are the latest people willing to take on the experiment?
Well, this year we have everyone from a dad of four to a body-contour specialist, a Russell Watson collaborator and a former Miss GB.
Here's the first look at the full cast ahead of the show's return.

Zoe
Age: 30
Job: Hair salon owner
Location: Devon
Zoe is a self-declared "bad bitch" and fiercely independent, so is hoping to find a man that can handle her. She's also incredibly loving and will go tooth and nail to protect her family and friends.
She wants to find a man that can bring a bit of substance to her life, even though she's happy with how successful her life is. Her love life is the only missing piece of her technicolour puzzle.
Can the love experts help her meet her match?
Sophie
Age: 26
Job: Tech
Location: Manchester
Sophie is an independent woman who lives life on her own terms. While she doesn't need a man to make her happy, she's now ready for a husband and partner.
Trouble is she's struggling to find a man with similar life goals as her in Manchester. She also fears the fact she's financially stable, a homeowner and successful can be intimidating to some people.
As for the experiment, she's willing to give 100%, as long as her new husband is prepared to show their romantic side to her.
Matt
Age: 32
Job: Barber shop owner
Location: Huddersfield
Matt thinks people are quick to judge him due to his multiple tattoos, but promises he's a sensitive soul underneath the tough-looking exterior.
He loves his jobs because it gives him the opportunity to have deep, meaningful conversations with strangers. He's a natural extrovert who loves spending time down at the gym.
He's hoping to find a woman to isn't afraid to try new things and is ready to tackle this next adventure in life with him.
Jonathan
Age: 32
Job: Carpenter
Location: Selby
Jonathan is a super-confident jetsetter who is always up for an adventure. He sees himself as a unique soul, but would quite like someone to share his life with.
His last relationship ended when he wanted to move to the next level and she wasn't ready, so he's looking for a girl with a 'natural look' to become his bride on MAFS.
Zoe
Age: 30
Job: Quantity Surveyor
Location: West Midlands
Zoe is outgoing and ambitious and takes her job very seriously – though that doesn’t stop her from playing hard. In fact, until now she’s been a bit of a serial dater… but Zoe’s now searching for something more serious.
While on the outside she can seem hard and assertive, Zoe hopes she’s matched with someone who she can show off her secret, softer side. Can the experts match her with her true love so she can start the family she’s dreamt of?
Whitney
Age: 31
Job: Personal Assistant
Location: St Albans
Whitney has never been short of male attention, but has a high list of demands in a partner in order to convince her to settle down.
Over the past few years, Whitney has had a hard time after the death of her mother, someone she describes as her best friend.
After a series of dating disasters, Whitney is now ready to settle down and wants to give herself the opportunity to open up in a way she hasn’t before. Will she be able to find someone to bring home to the rest of her family?
Thomas
Age: 31
Job: Mental Health Care Assistant
Location: Liverpool
Thomas is a ball of energy and loves being the centre of attention – so his new partner will have to get used to that.
He’s also not someone who backs down easily in an argument, so they’ll have their hands full!
However, he’s hoping the dating experts will be able to find him someone that provides balance to his life, and while he doesn’t want to be slowed down, he’s happy to be bound to the right person.
Richie
Age: 51
Job: Sales Advisor
Location: Sheffield
Richie is used to rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous, having been on the road in the music industry for 23 years.
He’s previously worked alongside stars like Russell Watson and Sheryl Crow – and reckons he could get Russell to perform at his wedding to the lucky bride.
Despite his playful nature, Richie considers himself emotionally intelligent and a good laugh.
Jenna
Age: 32
Job: Zero Waste Shop Owner
Location: Blackpool
Environmentally-conscious Jenna didn’t even want to get married until recently, not liking the traditional idea of the woman taking on the man’s name.
However, now she’s hoping to find a commitment, and wants to build a long life together with a significant other half.
Will she be able to find it here?
Kasia
Age: 36
Job: Businesswoman
Location: London
Kasia is the epitome of a girl boss. Feeling the odds were stacked against her at the age of 16 when she had her first child, Kasia made the most of any opportunity life has thrown at her.
Now she owns her own body contouring clinic and is living a successful life with her two kids in tow. However, with her kids growing up she wants to make room for someone new in her life, and hopes to find a partner in order to settle down with properly.
She hopes to find a man that shares her passion and drive in life, and isn’t afraid to take the lead when he needs to. Let’s hope the dating experts can find her perfect match!
Pjay
Age: 31
Job: Dancer/Performer
Location: Birmingham
This literal Dreamboy is hoping to find love with someone who wants a quiet and peaceful life.
Never short of attention thanks to his job, Pjay is hoping to find something beyond the surface level, thinking his work in Dreamboys has put off finding the right woman. His exes have struggled with truth because of his job, but he is determined to prove that he is a one-woman kinda guy.
If someone sees him as a husband, then they'll have to get past his mum first though, as she’s his number one!
Lara
Age: 49
Job: Waitress
Location: Nottingham
Lara has been single for the past 12 years but remains a hopeless romantic on a mission to find The One – just like her parents, who have been together for 51 years and counting.
The Canadian native has already been married and divorced twice, so is hoping that third time is the charm.
The mother of two knows what she wants in a partner, but fears that she has overlooked red flags in the past when she shouldn’t have. Will she find the man that will make her dreams come true?
Jess
Age: 31
Job: Dental Hygienist
Location: Cambridgeshire
Jess is one of a kind and is looking for someone who appreciates her fun and outgoing nature. If you can’t make her laugh, you’re not the right one for her.
She also often wears her heart on her sleeve, and says that you can tell by her face if she’s mad at you. However, she’s incredibly impulsive, which can sometimes backfire on her. She identifies this as the likely reason why she’s single – she moves too fast for comfort.
So hopefully going straight down the aisle will bypass that a little bit!
Chanita
Age: 29
Job: Social Worker
Location: Derby
Chanita describes herself as fiercely caring and loyal, and has actively dedicated her life to helping others from a young age. Now a social worker, she is also social by nature and loves to make new friends.
Two years ago, Chanita came out of a 10-year relationship, and now she’s ready to find the right person for her. She hopes to have a stable home with a good partner in order to start a family together.
Kwame
Age: 42
Job: Business Consultant
Location: London
Kwame has lived a full and fulfilling life – travelling around the world, getting a successful career, and getting married and having kids. However, following his divorce he's looking for a new Mrs Right, who can handle him when he's a little bit cocky.
A former Mr Ghana (back in 2000), he is far from his pre-glow up days of high school, and credits his parents for pushing him to work hard for his education to get further in life.
Now he's hoping to find someone to be the final piece in his picture-perfect life.
Duka
Age: 31
Job: Recruitment HR Coordinator
Location: Birmingham
Duka fled the conflict in Yugoslavia at the age of 10 with his family for a more peaceful life in the UK. However, he was quickly bullied for not knowing English.
He says this is formative in him being quite closed off at times, struggling to let people in. However, over time he's managed to turn this into a superpower and now he's often centre of attention with women.
He hopes to find someone that doesn’t bore him, as a lot of the time the girls he goes for can be superficial. Ideally he wants an Instagram girl who knows about world issues.
Adrian
Age: 37
Job: Digital Designer
Location: Manchester
This northern lad is a naturally creative person and has a big heart, always looking to be social, whether that be nights in with pals or nights out with the lads. He hasn't previously been majorly successful in relationships but thinks this is because people take advantage of him. Adrian hopes he finds an upbeat partner he can trust, and can head off on adventures with.
George
Age: 40
Job: Financial Advisor
Location: Worcester
George is a very proud dad-of-four who has struggled to find someone new after splitting from his ex-wife.
A man of the countryside, George is content with nearly everything in his life but is an old-fashioned romantic who wants to find someone to share life with.
He hopes to find someone exciting and willing to be open with him as they navigate their next stages of life together.
Jordan
Age: 29
Job: Account Manager
Location: Darlington
Jordan is a bundle of energy with a sense of adventure that led him straight through the MAFS doors. He enjoys being spontaneous and reckons he's a great catch as he's a homeowner who loves his family and knows how to cook.
He's also looking for a woman who will keep him on his toes, looking for real love and connection and won't settle for 'just comfortable'.
Jordan is a bit of an overthinker, and knows he needs to relax, but won't stay in a situation that doesn't feel right for him.
April
Age: 32
Job: Dress Designer
Location: London
This former Miss Great Britain has made a living designing wedding dresses for other people, can she finally make one for herself?
By her own admission, she is not great at finding men, and she wants the love experts to help her change that for good. Driven and ambitious, she's on a mission to do whatever it takes to find the right man for her who will allow her to be independent while they build a life together.
