Someone pass John Barrowman a plate of sandwiches stat, because we've got an inkling that Noel Edmonds is only just getting warmed up in his role as Emperor on I'm a Celebrity.
Last night's episode (November 22) featured the TV legend's grand arrival, and the jungle camp transformed into the Emperor's camp, complete with a throne and a Roman palace with two beds plus duvets and towels for the Emperor and his new personal advisor Harry Redknapp.
All the other campmates had to salute Noel with an "All hail Emperor Noel", and he is currently exempt from any chores and was given the authority to assign menial tasks to his co-stars – or peasants, as Harry happily started calling them.
And it wasn't just John who was getting irritated by Noel getting drunk off his power and status... co-host Declan Donnelly has let slip that Rita Simons got pretty irate at him off-camera yesterday.
During the show's spin-off programme Extra Camp, Dec told host Scarlett Moffatt: "I think he's trying to not get too power crazy yet, but it will come.
"John has already stared to crack, and Nick [Knowles] is biting his lip. Rita wasn't very happy down at the trial... Rita had a go actually. It wasn't on the show tonight, but while we were filming the trial, Rita had a go.
