Love Island's Ellie Brown and Charlie Brown have addressed claims that their relationship has already hit the rocks.

The pair caused a stir after reportedly having a big row at last weekend's reunion show, and being spotted leaving the wrap party in separate taxis.

However, they've cleared up all the rumours, Ellie admitting that Charlie was drunk after hanging out all day with fellow star Frankie Foster.

"Couples do have their tiffs," she told ODE. "And literally from day one we have not had one day where we haven't woken up in the same bed together.

"Basically Charlie got too drunk and [I] was sober. He wasn't just in trouble with me. He just got too drunk on Aftersun. It's not good when you're going on live TV.

"I was fuming, ITV were fuming, but we're okay. He just got too drunk."

Charlie explained he had "hopefully smoothed it all over" with ITV, explaining that producers were not happy that he and Frankie turned up wearing the same thing.

"Me and Samira [Mighty] were fuming," Ellie added. "Frankie held it well together, where [Charlie] was drunker thank Frankie – that's why [he] wasn't allowed to speak."

Meanwhile, Frankie has been opening up on why he doesn't plan to move in with Samira, explaining: "Everybody asks me, 'Why aren't you moving in together' but I am only 22.

"I've got loads of friends with girlfriends – I don't know one person that lives with their girlfriend so we don't have to be inseparable.

"In a real relationship you don't do that and I am quite happy we are not pressured to do so. She lived in London before, her mum lives in London, so we have been staying at her mum's.

"It's good because we do jobs that we will stay in hotels; other times we will stay at her mums and it's worked out quite well, because everything we are doing now media-wise is in London. It should work fine, I think."
