A true Love Island fan knows that it involves so much more than just watching the programme.
It means: Cancelling all evening plans to be firmly on your sofa at 9pm every night, hopping on the group chat to dissect the latest developments with your pals immediately after each show, downloading the app to vote for recouplings and, of course, following all of the Islanders on Instagram.
Unsurprisingly, there's a lot of us who do this, especially when it comes to the latter.
Following the show's premiere episode on Monday evening, Instagram has revealed just how many followers the contestants gained in the 24 hours after the show finished. Clearly, us Love Island fans do not hang around.
The Islander with the biggest growth in followers after the first episode was curly-haired Eyal Booker. The model amassed 92,000 more followers after episode one. Let that sink in: 92,000 people looked him up, scrolled through the feed and hit that follow button.
The girl who gained the most followers was Dani Dyer, who found herself with 69,000 more fans on the social media platform. Interestingly, Dani is the most followed, out of all the Islanders, on Instagram with 269,000.

With the top two out of the way, the rest of the cast also reaped the follower rewards.
Geordie Adam grew his following by 61,000, then came Harry Potter super-fan Niall with 48,000. Kendall got the second highest amount of followers for the girls with 47,000 followed by Laura and Hayley who both grew their Insta followers by 38,000.
Wes found himself with 36,000 more followers, Jack 33,000, Samira 28,000 and then... Alex with 25,000.
Don't worry, Alex, a total following of 57,600 followers is nothing to be sniffed at.
