TOWIE star Danielle Armstrong has paid a moving tribute to her best friend Sammy Brandon, who has recently passed away.
Danielle confirmed on Tuesday (May 15) that Sammy, who had a terminal illness, has sadly died. Along with a selection of photos and videos of the pair enjoying holidays and parties together, she shared this heartfelt message.
"Last night we lost a princess but heaven gained an angel," Danielle wrote.
"We have been friends for over 20 years and I can't even find the words to describe how I'm feeling apart from the fact I'm so blessed and honoured to call you my best friend."
She went on to add: "I take comfort knowing you are no longer in pain but at peace. Our beautiful Sammy, the way you say Danieellleeee and that screaming infectious laugh I will miss so much.
"You will always be our 5th Spice Girl, and I promise the whole world will get to know your story. Love you always Forever and you will always be in my heart my best friend my sister my Sammy our princess."

Danielle announced that Sammy was terminally ill back in April, with an illustration of a butterfly under the words "You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have" on Instagram, and a caption stating: "My best friend of over 20 years has been told she is terminally [ill], and as you can imagine myself our friends & family are heartbroken."
She reminded her followers to "cherish every moment you have with your loved ones and best friends".
Danielle also cancelled a party she had planned in May, understandably opting to spend time with Sammy instead.
"To anyone that may not have received my message that I cancelled my party due to my friend being very poorly," she wrote next to a photo of the pair holding hands.
"I thought it would be best to share this for anyone that was going to attend this evening. Apologies if this is the first time you heard about it being cancelled."
The pair also got tattoos, with Danielle getting the outline of a heart on her rib cage, which she called a "Heart for our Sammy".
