Coach Trip: Road to Marbs returns to our screens on Monday (January 16)... and it's set to be an explosive series.
Loveable tour guide Brendan Sheerin has exclusively revealed that a fight broke out on the very FIRST day of filming between Made in Chelsea's Olivia Bentley and Ratchet Clothing founder Dhillan Bhardway.
"They had a big row the first night out!" Brendan told us. "Can you imagine it? I thought, 'My god! The first night? Well if it starts like this we're in for a rocky ride...', but it was good.
"It did [carry on like that] to a certain point, but then they made peace and drew a line in the sand. It was a good series, actually."
Turns out Olivia is a lover as well as a fighter, since she also developed a romance with her team mate Adam, after the pair applied to the show separately and were put together by producers.
"He's a rough diamond from Australia and she's a girl from the King's Road, Chelsea, but he's a handsome lad," explains Brendan. "On the first day, one of the other contestants asked Adam, 'What would disappoint you with your travel partner?' And he just said, 'If she says no!'
What to Read Next
"So there's this little spark at the beginning that he ignites. And then there's the development of this relationship. It lasted quite a while, but I can't really say much, you've gotta watch it."
Despite the shenanigans that a young cast can bring, not everyone's a fan of E4's take on the original Channel 4 version of Coach Trip – which saw people of all ages taking part.
But Brendan says that version might make a return one day, so all hope is not lost.
"You never know, that might come back," he teased. "We've been going for 14 years, and now we're on E4 it could go another five or six. So you never know…"
He also said there's been talks of taking Coach Trip worldwide, but there's just one issue making it too expensive... the constant booking of last-minute flights due to couples either being sent home or brought in to replace someone.
"Unless we got some sort of deal with Virgin, or BA..." pondered Brendan of the possibility. "If we did some advertising with them on the programme and they gave the flights to us for free or for a discount, that'd be okay.
"I'd love to go to California or Australia. You'd get a lot of episodes out of Australia!"
Coach Trip: Road to Marbs starts on Monday (January 16) at 7.30pm on E4.
