It's been a great start to the new series of The Voice UK, with some seriously impressive singers. But it looks like ITV were saving the best until last with Mo.

The 21 year-old sang Iron Sky by Paolo Nutini and oh my word, it was AMAZING.

The singer was auditioning with his best mate and housemate Max. The pair are obviously musically talented as they met when Max heard his friend sing at open mic and the two performers were friends ever since.

Max went first and had Gavin Rossdale turn his chair around (and Tom Jones but it was too late) ensuring that all of the pressure was on Mo.

And wow did the boy deliver.

Long term judge Will.I.Am was already confident the last act was going to be good, telling Jennifer Hudson it would be "at least a three turner, potentially a four tuner."

And, yes, it was a four turner.

The judges and audience absolutely loved his rendition with Jennifer saying he might be young but that's an "old soul".

She said: You stopped the show. I could tell you were very connected to that song." She later added: "You understand the power of music and I love that you are a reminder of just how powerful music is."

Then it all got a bit political with Mo explaining that the he thinks now a bigger impact than politicians, with him adding: "I've stopped believing in politicians at the moment."

But it soon got back to the judges praise as Tom Jones said: "We were all blown away with that."

Gavin Rossdale probably had most complimentary reaction, telling Mo: "I've got to tell you that you are the reason that I agreed to do this show. And I was the first to turn because I believe in you the most and I need in you the most.

Meanwhile, will.i.am reacted to his political opinions, saying: I'm always asking questions what's going on the world I think you being on my team - we could bear fruit…and then sell them"

Cheeky.

It's a tough decision for anyone to make, but in the end, Mo chose Jennifer and we're sure we can expect big things from him in this competition.

It's also lovely to know that both housemates got through. Well done guys!
