It's safe to say Ore Oduba has been the unexpected star to this season's Strictly Come Dancing. The sports reader didn't have any dance training but has been one of the strongest dancers on the show.

After finding himself in the bottom two last week – against Judge Rinder – he well and truly delivered tonight with an amazing Argentine Tango.

Dancing to a dramatic version of 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' by Kylie Minogue, with partner Joanne Clifton, it was intense and exciting and oh so good.

And the judges certainly seemed to agree with Darcey Bussell saying: "Well that was a fast and furious Argentine Tango".

"You found moments of intensity and the tension was lovely, it really was".

"That one handed lift when you caught her was extraordinary".

Meanwhile Len Goodman noted that unlike the other celebrities, he has no gymnastic or dancing experience, and that is seriously impressive.

"You've got no dance experience," he said. "You're a sports broadcaster and you come out and dance with so much precision."

"It was so full and intense. I thought it was a terrific wonderful performance. Well done."

Craig Revel Horwood picked up on some teeny tiny criticisms saying: "You did loose balance on one of the lunges" but even he praised Ore, saying: "You should be so proud of yourself". Awww.

It's been a good week for Ore, who found himself at the top of the leaderboard after the first dance, and remained on top after earning 39 in the second dance and 77 overall.

It really is all to play for this year. Now we just have to see who's going to make it through to the finals!

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One.
