will.i.am apparently makes a huge error on the new season of The Voice - and we can practically hear the audience screaming: "You only have one job!"

As a coach on the show, the founding member of The Black Eyed Peas has the opportunity to pick his contestants by buzzing if he likes their performance.

His chair then swivels around to reveal the face of the voice and he gets to take the wannabe into the next round.

will.i.am apparently admitted he didn't mean to turn around, though said he'd stand by his mistake.

The three other judges - Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale - didn't make the same error and remained with their backs to the poor contestant.

Sadly this isn't the first time the music producer has made this gaffe as he previously pulled the same move on singer Alaric Green.

Green had been singing 'Broken Vow' when will.i.am made the 180-degree turn, but Will had a lucky escape as former fellow judge Ricky Wilson claimed Green as one of his own acts.

The Voice returns next year on ITV after leaving the BBC.
