RuPaul's Drag Race UK season 1 winner Divina De Campo has confirmed that return of the live tour for the upcoming eighth run of the show — and she's once again involved in it!

The star, known for her vast vocal range and red wig and silver dress combo, has been involved behind the scenes on the show's official tour, working on producing.

"I produced the season 7 tour this year, and I am going to produce the season 8 tour next year," Divina told Digital Spy. "We are locking the queens in at the moment."

The eighth season of Drag Race UK has already been filmed, and if it follows the pattern of previous seasons, it should premiere in late September or early October.

There's plenty of speculation about which queens will be involved, but none have been officially announced just yet.

RuPaul herself, Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton are all expected to return — although, again, it's not confirmed.

Last season saw Bones crowned as the UK's Next Drag Superstar, while Elle Vosque ended up as runner-up and Chai T Grande was voted as Miss Congeniality.

Plenty of Drag Race UK queens have been keeping busy after their seasons ended, with La Voix popping up on EastEnders just a few days ago. Her episode saw Walford celebrate Pride and she turned up to perform, but found herself in the middle of the feud between the Slaters and Cindy Beale!

Recently, Danny Beard landed a lead role in a new stage show, playing the late, great Paul O'Grady in a story about the creation of his drag alter-ego Lily Savage.

Divina herself is currently starring in Ride the Cyclone at Southwark Playhouse Elephant in London. She told us: "I would love to be in Cabaret, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Priscilla, the Queen of the Desert. And I'd love to do Hedwig [and the Angry Inch] again."

Meanwhile, Ru and a whole host of queens are starring in the comedy film Stop! That! Train!, which is out now in America and finally coming to the UK next month.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK season 8 is expected to air on BBC Three and stream on iPlayer in a few months.
