George Gilbert has been removed from the Big Brother House for the "repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour".
Ahead of Wednesday's (8 October) episode, a Big Brother spokesperson told Digital Spy: "Following repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour, George has been removed from the Big Brother House with immediate effect and will no longer participate in the programme."
Digital Spy understands that George will appear in tonight's episode of Big Brother, but his comments will not be aired because they are contrary to broadcast standards.
George was facing eviction this week, and it's understood that Friday's eviction will go ahead as planned, and that further details will be explained during tonight's episode of Big Brother: Late & Live.
George had previously been warned about his use of "unacceptable language and behaviour", which had "caused offence" to his fellow housemate, Sam Ashby, last week.
Called to the Diary Room by Big Brother on Monday (6 October), George was brought in to discuss comments made to Sam during Sunday's (5 October) episode.

"George, before you entered the Big Brother House, the rules regarding unacceptable language and behaviour were explained to you. Big Brother needs to talk to you about a conversation at the dining table last night," the voice said.
"During a game of Truth or Dare, when asked about your least favourite qualities of other Housemates, you said the following, 'Sam, um too…'. You then went on to mimic Sam using both noises that mocked the way Sam talks and body language that included limp wrists.
"Do you understand how both your language and behaviour could be offensive to Sam, your Housemates and the viewing public?"

Reflecting on the situation, George replied: "We did have a conversation about this, Sam pulled me to one side. I have apologised. I don't want to make anyone feel like that, so I will be walking on eggshells around Sam from here on in."
Concluding the conversation, Big Brother issued an official warning to George.
A parish councillor from Essex, George joined the show as a late addition. Ahead of his debut in the Big Brother house, the 23-year-old had told producers that he hoped to 'challenge people's way of thinking' and wasn't afraid to "ruffle some feathers".
Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX from Sundays through Fridays, followed each night by Big Brother: Late & Live.
