When does it begin?
Very soon - the 16th series of Big Brother - which, incidentally, is subtitled Timebomb - will kick off on Tuesday, May 12 at 9pm on Channel 5. You're getting a two-hour launch show, followed by an hour-long episode of Bit On The Side from 11pm-midnight - and then an hour of live feed from midnight. You'll also be able to watch the show if you're in Ireland - TV3 has picked up the rights.
Who are the hosts?
Emma Willis is back to host the main show, but she's handed over the Bit On The Side reins entirely to Rylan Clark for the first time. He's said he's "excited" about it all, adding: "Emma has done the show for years and she has built such a good baby for me to look after. BBBOTS is such a good show, and if there was a spinoff show category at the Television Awards, I know we would be up there!
"I love the show so much, and I will always put the show first. This is my seventh series, so I know what works and what doesn't. Four years ago, that would have been me sitting in that audience. I totally get it!"

What is this Timebomb thing all about?
This year's series is subtitled Timebomb... but what does that mean? Well, Channel 5 have told us that as soon as the housemates enter the compound, the clock will start ticking and their past, present and future will be in Big Brother's hands. We're promised that the big man will be "playing with the concept of time", whether that be in tasks, secret missions or twists.
Rylan - who has found out a bit more - explained that "the only sort of structure you have got to your day is time" in the house.
"Even though you don't have a clock, you wake up in the morning and it's light, you know that you are going to be doing whatever for the rest of the day, then you go to bed and you wake up again," said Rylan, a past winner of Celebrity Big Brother. "That is the only thing that keeps you sane in that house. But with this series, time doesn't mean anything."
What tasks can we expect this series?
We're not sure yet, but you can bet your bottom dollar they'll be time-related. Emma (who has been keeping herself in the dark) suggested: "I would like to see them have to live in the future or go back to their past, or live in medieval times. I don't know exactly what they are going to do but I'm a real fan of Back To The Future - so I'm hoping it has a lot to do with time travel!"
Interestingly, Emma also said her favourite moment from the show was the "pause and rewind" task from Big Brother: Secrets & Lies. "When they were in the garden and they had to freeze and not do anything then rewind... it was such a fun thing for them to do, it wasn't just to screw with their heads, it was a fun game," she said. "Everyone ended up looking a bit ridiculous but in a fun way!"
We're not saying that this task will get a repeat this series, but it would fit in with the time theme, wouldn't it?
What does the house look like?
Fitting with the Timebomb theme, the house has been given a makeover which Channel 5 described as having a "sophisticated, sleek, Mad Men 60s style". You can check out all of the pictures here, but some of the things worth noting include the huge pool (complete with an island and crocodile) and the fact that there's another upstairs area - a set of steps lead to a small hut outside. Our favourite part of the house, though, is the Bond-esque bathroom.
Who are the housemates?
For the first time in Big Brother's history, Channel 5 has identified the housemates before launch night, and there's the usual mix of models, students, models who are students and students who are models in among the 16 contestants who will be going into the house on May 12. Oh, and there's a pair of twins in there as well (who you may have seen fleetingly on TOWIE), and a former X Factor contestant.
There might be some familiar faces, too. In keeping with the Timebomb theme, we could be seeing some old housemates - at least, Rylan hinted that we "could revisit any Big Brother series if we wanted to". He'd like to see the return of people like Nikki, Aisleyne, Makosi, Nadia and Heidi and Spencer, while Emma backed Gina, Dexter, Chris and Ashleigh from last year and even Sally Axl ("We may have missed out on a great housemate by her leaving after a week").
Anyway, Rylan teased: "How would the new housemates feel if all of a sudden someone else pops up, or if we rewind a year or fast-forward a year, even? Anything is possible with time!" So, we would prepare for some familiar faces...
Can I find out anything else about the housemates?
Yes, you can! At the weekend, Digital Spy exclusively spoke to eight of the newbies to find out a bit more about them. You can read our chats with Adjoa, Chloe, Harriet, Jade-Martina, Kieran, Jack, Nick and Simon if you want to prepare yourself for the launch.
When is the first eviction?
We don't know yet, but we're expecting something to happen on the Friday after launch (May 15), as there's a 90-minute show from 9pm-10.30pm. We'd say it's a good bet that there will be some kind of twist going on then, if not an eviction.
Is there any live feed?
The eternal question! Once again, there won't be an online live feed - unless there's a sudden about turn from Channel 5 - but you will be able to catch a bit on television. In the first week, there's an hour of live feed from the house at midnight after Tuesday's launch, and there's another half an hour on Friday night (11.30pm-midnight).
Any other bits and bobs I should know?
This series of Big Brother has a new creative director - Denis O'Connor. He's promised he has some "big ideas in the pipeline", but he's not new to the show - he's been an executive producer for the past three years. Anything else? Well, the new series is sponsored by Lucozade, fact fans...
