The Masked Singer UK spoilers follow.
Maya Jama has responded to claims that she had leaked the identity of a contestant on The Masked Singer UK on Instagram, denying she had given away details of an unmasking.
Jama has joined the ITV show's panel, replacing Rita Ora. She joins fellow panellists Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross, plus host Joel Dommett.
Ahead of The Masked Singer's 2025 premiere on Saturday (January 4), Love Island host Jama took to Instagram to share her excitement at joining the panel, writing: "Thrilled to be joining The Masked Singer family.

"Felt well official with my notepad, nervous being the newbie but this series is so much fun! & it starts TONIGHTTT at 7pm & tomorrow at 6:30pm... Get your detective skills out & tune in to watch on ITV & ITVX. Who’s that behind the mask ?!?!..”

Jama's post included various behind-the-scenes photos from the show, with one selfie showing the panellist with guest star Mo Farah.
It wasn't the gold medal-winning Olympian's only involvement in the show, with the athlete being unveiled as the celebrity behind the Christmas special's 'Giant Joel' character.
The reveal, which occurred at the beginning of Saturday's episode, prompting some fans to accuse Jama of leaking the unmasking.
However, she denied this and responded to one, writing: "Mo is a panellist episode 1 honey it's google-able."
Jama also replied to a second user who suggested she might want to delete her selfie with Farah following the reveal, writing: "Mo is a guest panellist episode 1 it's not a secret x"

In Jama's photo gallery, Farah was shown sitting at the panel's desk with her. He wasn't wearing the Giant Joel costume in the photo.
Saturday's Masked Singer premiere was followed by another episode the following evening (January 5), in which the first two eliminations of the series took place.
After a public vote and then deliberation from the panel, it was Spag Bol and Pegasus who were to be unmasked.
After much anticipation, Spag Bol was revealed to be Kate Garraway, who remarked that the experience had been "so much fun".
Pegasus was revealed to be Prue Leith, with The Great British Bake Off star sharing that the audience were "lovely".
The Masked Singer airs on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
