Drag Race UK star La Voix came close to the crown in season six but sadly lost out at the final hurdle.

The queen came in second place behind winner Kyran Thrax after the duo battled it out in a dramatic lip sync to Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now.

Speaking exclusively with Digital Spy, La Voix reflected on her Drag Race journey and confirmed she has no plans to return.

Despite racking up several Ru Peter Badges throughout her run on the show, La Voix insists she doesn’t want another shot at the crown.

While many other fan favourites in the past have returned for spin-off shows such as All Stars and UK vs the World, La Voix wants to leave her Drag Race journey in the past.

“Don't put me through it again,” she laughed. “Do you know what? I've done it once and I've managed to do it very well and get right for the top two. So, I wouldn't risk doing it again and being voted off the second week or not enjoying the ride as much as I have this time.”

“It was a very special cast for season six,” La Voix continued. “So, my memory and my loyalty to that season is the only time. You won't, sadly, catch me on All Stars.

“But it doesn't mean you won't catch me on anymore TV shows or touring around with my live theatre shows.

“I'm throwing myself into lots of new exciting ventures, but sadly, All Stars won't be one of them for me, I'm sorry to say.”

La Voix is instead keeping herself busy elsewhere this festive season as she’s performing in a pantomime production of Aladdin alongside BBC Radio 2 presenter Vernon Kay.

The former Britain’s Got Talent star has promised fans can expect “lots of panto madness” at the Wycombe Swan theatre.

Wycombe Swan's Aladdin runs from December 13, 2024, to January 5, 2025. Tickets are available now.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK airs on BBC Three in the UK and streams on WOW Presents Plus in the US.
