I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!'s Tulisa Contostavlos has responded to fan confusion after deleting all her Instagram posts about the show.

The N-Dubz star became the third celebrity to be eliminated from the jungle earlier this week, though left some fans concerned after not appearing on spin-off show Unpacked and removing content from her page.

In a new clip shared on her account, Tulisa herself explained that she wanted to "clear a couple of things up".

"When I came out of the jungle, I felt fine first of all and then that evening, my friends went to bed, I was on my Instagram, just trying to have a nice little casual scroll at some funny stuff or the stuff that I like to watch, and I was getting a lot of attention, a lot of bombarding – in all the most positive way," she said.

Tulisa admitted that as it has "been a bit of a while" since she was in the spotlight, she felt a bit "overwhelmed".

"I thought, do you know what, I really need to take a bit of time for me and just chill, and this is all feeling a little bit much at the moment," she continued, adding she decided to archive her jungle content and plans to post highlights when she has had "a little time to process".

"I haven’t been doing my Instagram, the way that everything is posted and all the random stuff is not the way I do my Insta. I would have one or two really good reels relating to the jungle and bringing together my time in there."

The star noted that "it’s okay to feel a bit overwhelmed", adding that she has "been out of the spotlight for a long time" and is "still trying to overcome those things".

"I’ve still got my little demons – it doesn’t mean that I’m going to go and hide back under a rock for another 10 years, it just means I need a little bit of time to just process and you know, get right with my thoughts."

Tulisa went on to praise ITV and I'm a Celebrity for being "really understanding and patient" towards her in terms of her mental health, explaining that she is "a bit of an introvert".

"I’d been in the jungle with people I’d only just met for two and a half weeks straight and then I’ve come out and seen loads and loads of attention and I’m like, 'Whoa, this is a lot'. And I just needed a little bit of a breather."

During the clip, she also addressed a recent interview on Lorraine, in which she suggested "a lot of people for the cameras were all pally pally" in the jungle and that the "real test" of friendships will be when people re-enter the real world.

"I just want to clarify that I do not think that any of my campmates are fake," she said on Instagram.

"What I was trying to say is - typical me thinking out loud - that everyone in there is going to have one or two individuals that they’re way more close with than others, and that when we get out is when you’re really going to see those friendships get nurtured and the people that are going to be your friends for life.

"I love my jungle buddies, love my jungle fam, but there are going to be friendships that people have that really get nurtured that become something that’s like a friend for life – that’s all I was trying to say."

I'm a Celebrity… airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
