Fearne Cotton has revealed she is set to undergo surgery after doctors discovered two tumours on her jawline.
The TV presenter and former Radio 1 DJ shared news of her diagnosis in an Instagram video where she confirmed both tumours were benign but were set to be removed in an upcoming surgery.
"Hey gang, I'm going to be out of action for a bit due to a surgery," her post caption began. "I felt a lump under my ear on my jawline a while ago now but this year noticed it was growing.

"Turns out it's a benign tumour and another small one above it on the saliva gland," she continued. "I'm feeling positive about it all and will take the opportunity to rest and slow right down."
The Celebrity Gogglebox star mentioned "mate" and fellow TV presenter Davina McCall in her video, who has recently undergone surgery after a brain tumour diagnosis.

"It's obviously so weird that only a couple of months ago Davina told me about her tumour and then weeks later I was calling her having discovered mine," she said.
"I'm not only lucky she's a bloody good mate but also a beacon of light and positivity when it comes to this stuff."

Cotton took the opportunity to remind people to "always go get it checked" if they ever notice an unnatural lump or bump.
"I'm so glad I did as the longer you leave these things the more complicated things become," she said, signing off: "Sending you all loads of love and I'll see you soon."
Celebrity friends including comedian John Bishop sent their well wishes to Cotton in the comments section of the post. "Hope the recovery goes well," he wrote.
Singer and West End star Beverley Knight also wrote: "Sending you love Fearne".
