I'm a Celebrity star Oti Mabuse has opened up about the trolling she experienced after going back to work following the birth of her daughter.

The Dancing on Ice judge and former Strictly Come Dancing star welcomed a baby daughter last December, and during tonight's (November 30) episode, she spoke candidly to Coleen Rooney about being mum-shamed online.

Speaking about starting a family, Oti reflected: "Because I'm a dancer, it was really difficult to say when I would start having a family because my body is my job and also you have to be financially ready.

"Eventually I'll have to give all of this up and just dedicate my life to them because I want to be there, I want to do the school run."

Coleen then noted that you "can still be a strong individual, dedicating your life to that".

"I think there's this preconceived notion that when you're a housewife you've got no ambition," Oti said.

"I come across a lot of women who find it easy to come to work and find it hard being a mum," Coleen added.

Speaking further about her experience, Oti explained: "When I had my daughter, I went back to work, I did Dancing on Ice and she was eight weeks and the amount of messages and trolling from women who were like, 'Stay home with your baby', 'Why are you out?', and I was just like, it's my choice."

The dancer admitted in the Bush Telegraph that she finds it "very difficult" to not let those comments get to her adding: "I'm human."

Coleen then shared her support for Oti, telling her: "On the outside world you can't win, everyone has got an opinion. I always say don't take it to heart because every individual is different."

Earlier this week, Oti opened up about the premature birth of her daughter in a candid chat with Reverend Richard Coles.
