Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has shared a health update on her ex-husband Clive Owen after his recent hip surgery.

Amanda and Clive split in 2022 after 22 years of marriage but continue to work alongside each other.

Together, the former couple share nine children: Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine, and Nancy.

Chatting on ITV’s Lorraine, Amanda explained how everyone in the family is trying to help out while Clive recovers from his operation.

The Yorkshire Shepherdess said it’s not been easy balancing family life and farm work while Clive has been out of action.

"There's a lot going on here," she revealed, on the ITV daytime show. "It's been a nightmare here.

"I've got children going to school, I've got children studying and children working and then [Clive] comes to me and says he's bored.

"He has had a hip replacement and he's a terrible patient."

While Amanda and the kids are managing the workload without Clive, she’s confessed it may not always be up to his usual standards.

"Everybody's just getting on and stuff's getting done but just not how he would like it," she explained. "But most of the time we don't care."

The Owen family are soon set to return to screens with their new show Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids.

The new Channel 4 series will see the Owens working together to bring new life to a derelict farmstead tucked away in a remote location in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales.

Along the way, viewers will see the family face a range of challenges as they battle the changing seasons and elements while restoring the listed property.

Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids airs Mondays at 9pm on More4.
