Love Island star Connor Durman and his girlfriend Ella Newton are expecting their first child together.

The couple, who have been together since 2021, took to Instagram with a joint post to share the happy news.

The sweet video montage showed Ella learning the result of her pregnancy test, as well as clips of the pair sharing the news with their family and friends.

The video also featured a heart-shaped gender reveal cake, which was cut open to uncover a blue sponge.

"Our little surprise due 2025," the post's caption read. "Can't wait to meet you baby boy. @_sayitwithcake thank you for our beautiful cake."

Connor notably appeared on the sixth season of Love Island, aka the show's first ever winter series, where he was coupled up with Sophie Piper on day one.

Shortly after a dramatic recoupling ceremony, Connor was dumped from the villa, with Sophie following just days later.

The pair reunited after leaving the villa, before announcing their split six months after the series concluded.

Sophie returned to the villa for the show's first All Stars season earlier this year, where she came in third place with season one star Josh Ritchie.

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
