Taskmaster season 18 spoilers follow.
Taskmaster star Emma Sidi put her detective skills to the test working out the show's sabotage task.
In tonight's (October 24) episode, the group task saw the two teams — Emma paired with Babatunde Aléshé and Andy Zaltzman, and Rosie Jones with Jack Dee — having to guess two mysterious objects in a box.
One contestant in each team was shown the items and could help their co-stars guess by only making silent facial expressions. However, both Andy and Jack were asked to lie throughout the challenge, and would have one point docked each time they'd tell the truth.

Aware of Andy's penchant for bizarre costumes, Emma immediately realised he wasn't telling the truth when he didn't seem to know what velvet was.
"Andy's lying!" she shouted while Babatunde looked confused. "He's Andy Zaltzman, he knows what velvet is!"

"the detective did great detective work," one fan pointed out on Twitter/X, referencing Emma's private eye outfit, while another called the comedian "a genius".
"I have decided that I would die for Emma Sidi," a viewer added.
Emma's intuition allowed her team to identify the two objects in the box —a lemon and a £5 note — and win the task after "only" 116 guesses, with Greg Davies awarding them 5 points each.
Despite guessing the items correctly, Rosie was "let down" by Jack, who told the truth three times, resulting in the duo having three points deducted.
After a stomach-churning fortune cookie tasting and a throwing studio task, Emma deservedly came out on top, winning the episode with 22 points.
Taskmaster season 18 airs Thursdays and streams on Channel 4. A Junior Taskmaster spin-off has been confirmed.
