Strictly Come Dancing has confirmed its songs and dances for Halloween Week.

The show will be getting into the spirit of spooky season this weekend (October 26) – with everything from The Addams Family to Toploader covered.

Taking on Sambas are Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec, and Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell, who will respectively dance to 'I Like To Move It Move It' by Reel 2 Real and 'Stayin' Alive' by The Bee Gees.

Last but not least, Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystał will take on the Viennese Waltz to 'That's Life' by Frank Sinatra, while Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu will Paso Doble to 'In The Hall of the Mountain King' by Edvard Grieg, and Wynne Evans and Katya Jones will Salsa to 'Canned Heat' by Jamiroquai.

This weekend's episode comes after the elimination of Paul Merson and dance partner Karen Hauer last Sunday after the pair lost the dance-off to JB and Amy.

Speaking after his exit, the former footballer said: "It's been really good. For anybody I talk to, I would say you've got to go on this show. It's amazing – everybody."

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
