Married at First Sight UK's new couple Hannah Norburn and Stephen Nolson had a rocky start to their honeymoon.

The couple jetted off to the Dominican Republic for their romantic getaway, but a confrontation that went too far threatened their future together.

Stephen said that Hannah's energy had started to "grate" him, as he felt she wasn't taking his needs into account. When he tried to raise the issue with Hannah, she got defensive.

The night took a turn when Stephen asked Hannah about an off-camera comment she'd made, saying that it would prove his point.

She was hurt about her husband apparently backtracking on the decision to keep certain things private and almost gave Stephen a taste of his own medicine by hinting at revealing a personal incident he'd told her in confidence. She then stormed out, saying she was "done".

Stephen was upset about Hannah's retaliation threats, telling producers that had she repeated what he'd told her, that would have "ruined" his relationship with some family members. As a result, he spent the night alone.

The following morning, the couple had a conversation, with Hannah acknowledging her reactiveness but also admitting there were some personality traits she wouldn't be able to change.

"Do you wanna move forward?" she asked, with Stephen agreeing to put the row behind them as he was satisfied with her "somewhat" apology.

At dinner, Stephen told Hannah he wasn't completely over the argument yet and would still need to spend some time alone.

Feeling rejected, Hannah reminded him he'd promised her they'd never go to bed angry and asked him to try and work through their problems. At Stephen's refusal, she left the table.

As their honeymoon was drawing to a close, Stephen explained that being alone helped him understand what he wanted and suggested they take baby steps moving forward. However, Hannah felt disappointed and burst into tears during a solo interview.
