Strictly Come Dancing's Nikita Kuzmin has apologised to Shakira after an unfortunate yet hilarious gaffe.
The professional dancer was speaking to Claudia Winkleman on last night's (October 6) results show, where she asked him about what we can look forward to from himself and celebrity partner Sam Quek next week.
He revealed that the duo were dancing the samba, and rather than tell Claudia what song they'd be dancing to, he decided to sing it. The only problem was that he belted out the wrong song, with all the confidence of someone completely unaware that they were singing the wrong song.

After giving a rendition of 'Whenever, Wherever', Claudia told him that he was actually performing "the other Shakira song", leaving him flummoxed as he tried and failed to recall the tune of 'Hips Don't Lie', while everyone else in the studio broke into hysterical laughter.

"OMG sorry Shakira," Nikita commented on the show's official Instagram upload of the clip. "The thing is, I already started choreographing to the song hahahaha."
Unsurprisingly, Shakira hasn't commented on Nikita's mix-up at the time of writing.

This weekend's show saw a tribute to Dame Maggie Smith, the long-running series' first traditional Bollywood dance, and the elimination of a second celebrity and their professional dance partner.
Meanwhile, all the songs and dances for week four of this year's competition are expected to be announced tomorrow (Tuesday, October 8).
Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
