Married at First Sight Australia star Jade Pywell has shared a relationship update with boyfriend Ridge Barredo.

The couple were matched on this year's season of the social experiment, and chose to stay together at the final commitment ceremony.

While doing a Q&A on her Instagram Stories on Monday (August 12), Jade was asked by one follower: "Where's Ridge been lately?"

The star then confirmed that the couple are still going strong, writing: "Working a lot, he spends a lot of time at the gym and at work, we will make sure to make time for each other though."

Since their appearance on MAFS, Jade and Ridge have shared a number of updates with their followers across social media.

Following their final vows, which saw Ridge unveil a tattoo tribute to his partner, Jade shared (via Nine): "I feel like life out of the experiment has definitely felt more normal, and I would say we're definitely a lot happier, just because it's like real life now – post-experiment we've been really good."

Ridge has also built a strong bond with Jade's eight-year-old daughter Victoria, with the trio recently heading off on their first holiday together to Bali.

In June, the couple took the next step in their relationship, with Ridge moving to the Gold Coast to live with Jade.

The pair have also opened up about their hopes of starting a family so they can give Jade's daughter some siblings to play with.

"Boy and girl twins! I'll definitely be waiting for another ring before we have any kiddies," Jade told New Idea magazine.

"This show doesn't count. I'd like a proper engagement, instead of me just being handed to him."
