Dancing on Ice star Greg Rutherford has teased a future return to the show.
The track-and-field athlete was a contestant on the 2024 series, partnered with professional skater Vanessa James, but was forced to pull out of the competition after sustaining a severe injury.
Appearing on Lorraine on Wednesday (July 17), Rutherford revealed he has been in contact with show bosses about a possible return in the future.

"It’s been early-stage discussed whether or not I come back and do one skate maybe," he told host Lorraine Kelly. "I'd love to give it another go.
"It was something I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I did, and that was the interesting thing for me."

After seeking medical advice from a specialist, the athlete later confirmed the nature of his injury, explaining in March that he had tore and herniated his abs sliding on the ice, essentially giving himself "a C-section".
Recalling the moment the injury took place, Rutherford told Lorraine: "I had this absolute panicked look and the two pros that were on the ice who were incredible, they straight away shouted for people to come and I couldn’t move.
"It was one of the most bizarre things, because it was all in the stomach and you then realise how much you use your stomach when it’s damaged. I couldn't move, I couldn’t do anything and I laid on the ice for ten minutes with gas and air before they had to get me off."
