The Apprentice legend Stuart Baggs will be back on television next week - in Come Dine with Me.

The entrepreneur, who appeared on The Apprentice in 2010, will be part of an Isle of Man week on the Channel 4 cooking show.

According to Isle of Man Today, Baggs had "completely forgotten" about filming the series.

"It happened so long ago," he said. "It was great fun."

However, he added: "I'm a terrible cook! You've only got to make one slip-up and that makes it into the edit - that's how TV works."

Baggs added that the contestants all tried to get on, saying: "It's a bit different filming the show in the island. You know everyone will be watching it, everybody will be talking about it. So we tried to present a united front. That lasted until the taxi ride home the first night! I started from a position of being hated so the others had further to fall."

Baggs will compete against account manager Justine Gaisford-Martin, retired gardener Eva Sanders, Ballachurry Riding School's Michelle Crellin and cafe owner Rich Ashcroft.

He recently announced on Twitter that he had decided to use the social media site solely to "talk business" from now on.

"Hello Twitter," he wrote. "It's been a while & it's time for a confession. 4 years ago, The Apprentice changed my life in many ways. Some good, some bad."

He added: "Trying to inject comedy into a serious format inevitably split opinions. Receiving death threats was a low but I'd do it all again tomorrow."

Baggs, who is the managing director of telecoms company BlueWave Communications, concluded: "At 26, I'm director of a global group turning over in excess of 5 million pounds. It's time to get serious & use Twitter to talk business."

Baggs's episodes of Come Dine with Me will kick off on Monday (November 3) at 5pm on Channel 4.
