Love Island winner Sanam Harrinanan has cleared up some fan confusion surrounding her and Kai Fagan's engagement.
The reality TV couple announced their lovely news to the world last week after Kai got down on one knee. In an Instagram video, it was revealed that they returned to their hotel, where Kai surprised his new fiancée with a load of balloons reading, 'Yes, she said'.
One social media user speculated that Sanam knew about the proposal before it happened based on the balloons.

Sanam responded to the comment, saying that she had no clue about Kai's plans but given that they've spoken about their long-term future on numerous occasions, it would not have been surprising to Kai that she'd accept his proposal.
"No, I didn't know what he had planned," she said, "but we've spoken about marriage and a future many times, so it's not rocket science for him to know I would say yes whenever he did pop the question.
