Celebrity Big Brother's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed the reason for her recent split from Davide Sanclimenti.

Ekin-Su opened up about her break-up from Davide earlier this week on the ITV1 reality show, saying she had "great memories" with him and had "no bad vibes" about the split.

The reality star announced her separation from her Love Island co-winner in January, after an 18-month relationship that was on and off, but she has remained tight-lipped about the cause of the split until now.

During Wednesday's (March 6) edition of Celebrity Big Brother, Ekin-Su spoke with housemate Marisha Wallace about the complexities of the relationship, and she touched on her split from Davide.

"They always say to me that the man should be more into the woman," Ekin-Su said.

When Marisha said she agreed with that statement, the Love Islander said: "That's the mistake I made."

Ekin-Su told Marisha she felt she was more committed to the relationship than Davide.

Marisha quizzed her housemate on what caused the break-up, and Ekin-Su replied, "Let's just say he hurt me."

Davide has previously disputed Ekin-Su's version of the events surrounding their separation, accusing her of announcing their split on Instagram without the statement they'd agreed upon.
