The Big Reunion supergroup 5th Story have revealed that they have worked hard to make their individual songs sound like they belong to a band.

Adam Rickitt, Kenzie, Kavana, Gareth Gates and Dane Bowers have teamed up for the ITV2 series and will perform each other's tracks during the programme.

They told Digital Spy that they spent a week in the studio recording their tracks, with Rickitt explaining that they all got on with the job well.

"Three of the songs were solo songs; what I think was really telling was that when it came to doing it as a band, nobody was precious about it," he said.

"Nobody was like, 'No, that's my line, sod off'. No-one was like, 'I'm the star of the song'."

Meanwhile, Gates pointed out that they all have different musical backgrounds - "from urban to dance to pop to bhangra" - but said they have managed to make them into group songs.
