12.00 - 13.00

Thanks Daniel. Afternoon folks, I'll be with you till around 2.00 and Claire will be back half an hour after that for the rest of the afternoon. I'll keep this to a quarter of an hour update, as it's usually pretty boring when there are so few people left. If anything exciting happens, I'll bring it to you asap.
Bear with me on the typos. It was my birthday yesterday and mucho vino was consumed, and I had acrylic nails fitted, which look great, but are awful for typing!!! I'm not used to long nails. Also, I'm on my standby laptop and it has days when certain keys dont work. Today it's the 't' key that is playing up, *sigh*. (Good job this is a voluntary gig, otherwise I'd be sacked!) Up for discussion today, was Davina harsh on Stuart during his interview...eg lying to him that Michelle had spilt all to the tabloids, when she hadn't?

12.00 - 12.15

Our fab four are happily busying themselves in the kitchen, even Jase is singing (forgive me, I haven't seen any live feed since Friday afternoon - I'm not used to the happy, clappy Jase!) there's lots of flies and wasps around, so Jay is chucking out food that he thinks has been "visited" by insects. Nadia says that "you guys are really motivated" as she washes them clean up and empty the litter. Nadia furiously attacks the brushing.
Ad break. That was an exciting 15 minutes.

big sis : think that stus interview was a bit unfair especially when davina tried to make out that michelle had told her everything. good on stu for not saying anything. also think that it was unfair to show all the 'bunny boiler' clips of michelle in his best bits & that michelle should have been kept away from the studio, he obviously wanted to see his f & f

Seaneeboy : The reason for the delay is simple. They need a good half hour or so between the live feed and the broadcast, in order to go back and blank out the litigous/sweary bits. remember while they're re-editing the old bits, they've got to know both when to take the tweetybirds off again AND know if anything else litigeous/sweary happened when they were editing the old stuff. If they didn't give themselves that time things would get flustered very quickly and, more importantly, not be able to guarentee the quality and appropriateness of the feed to the regulators.

iris : i have been disappointed with davina's interviews this year. i would like to think that she's under pressure to ask these questions/ tell nadia's secret/ pressure stu but i have a horrible feeling that she just might have lost touch with the sort of things people really want asked, i know we are all salacious gossip addicts but sometimes it's nicer to hear more about the person

Nicky T : I dont think she was harsh on Stuart. He's a big boy now. Davina is just getting her job done and trying to get a story out of Stuart - just like any other interviewer would do. She only wants to beat the tabloids to the news!

As for Michelle being involved in most of his clips - what are people moaning about? All i remember Stuart for is being Michelles little lap dog! Thats what they were showing.

12,15 - 12.30

Still no convos as they are all busy clearing up. BB has just summoned Dan to the the DR. Jason belches loudly. "Ding Dong" says he. Is he trying to be James Hewitt? Dan says it was just for cloths, before stopping to look disgustedly at his reflection. "I look worse than I've ever done" he moans. Nadia reassures him. Shell is now mopping away. Dan asks about Vanessa saying she probably cant believe they are still there. Shell says she's probably cursing them for having to come down from Leeds to see the finale. Oh, if only they realised, she's been sunning herself in foreign climes with Ben Fogle!

Sara : yes - BB / DAvina was definately harsh on Michelle in Stuarts interview and portrayed her very badly. It seems that BB don't want them to be together - as they obviously wanted Michelle out last week - hence the constant footage of her going on at Stuart - and not showing any good bits or showing that Stuart actually enjoyed the attention.
To all you guys out there that voted Michelle out to give Stuart a break and to find out the real stuart - how wrong you were - Stuart was no different the last few days, and he actually really does like Michelle - when asked if they had a future last night he answered 'most definately' - a very positive response!!!!

Susie : I'm quite glad that Stuart was evicted last night, since I'll now be able to enjoy Friday night! This has certainly been an interesting BB, but the S&M thing has been very mixed. I had no problems with Paul/Helen in BB2, but I found the constant coverage of S&M doing things that really should be done in the privacy of one's own hotel room very uncomfortable - eventually I switched off for a lot of the time. So I can't say I've entirely enjoyed BB5 - BB2 and BB3 have probably been my favourites.

Jenny N : I still think the whole last night stuff stinks! How could you expect to drag anyone from the few minutes of fun he's experienced in days if not weeks, and ask him to answer questions - I'm surprised he managed to say anything at all! It added nothing to my enjoyment of BB this year, and I went off Davina weeks ago for buying into the 'evil' machinations of BB5. I know she has a job to do (and keep) but professionally I'd have had more respect for her if she's allowed herself to behave as she felt she wanted to, rather than allow herself to be manipulated too. The quality of the evictee interviews this year has been so poor it's risible! Gorgeous Dermot OTOH has handled it really well, remaining uncompromised throughout. Sorry, rant over, but I'm still miffed:)

Tony-in-Mcr : Stu looked like he was in a state of shock last night. I did think the interview was aggressive, especially since Stu was like a rabbit in headlights. The questioning line was a bit 'tabloid'. But - even though Michelle dominated Stu's BB experience - he did still have a BB experience and did all the usual BB things. There wasn't time to really discuss any of that. It would have been a nice touch if BB had sent Stu a cowboy hat...

I hate to tell you, but we've just come back from an ad break and apart from a couple of grunts, all that's on screen is them working away. Nadia, wearing a layered, frilled, shocking pink top and white trousers is sweeping the bedroom while Shell brushes....riveting! That really is all that's happened in this 15 minutes. Dan has just come out of the DR saying they asked him the same old, same old, such as "Who's going to win de dah de dah"

Elsie : The Davina interview with Stu - Helen and Paul were as manipulated as Michelle & Stu, the only difference being that they held back from each other whilst on the show whereas Michelle & Stu have been a lot more forward (and media savvy). It's interesting that Helen & Paul have on the whole always found favour, but Stu & Michelle are being villified by everyone. PS: Happy Birthday Tally!

I don't think Davina was harsh on Stuart and she didn't really 'lie' to him. The tabloid headlines did actually say what she showed him they said (whether the contents inside the papers matched the headlines or not!). If she had sat there and not mentioned stuff about Michelle, we'd all have slated her. Poor Davina, she just can't win!

Tree : I think the point with the whole S&M thing is that he doesn't know what's going to happen. He's a 20 yr old boy who by his own admission hasn't had a serious relationship before and then he meets a woman who he likes, but who is overbearing and controlling (and I didn't mind her!)in a bizarre and unnatural environment. I think he does fancy her, but they have had no experience of being together in the real world where the differences between them are going to be highlighted, if anything. I think Stu is far too well brought up to have been anything other than polite about Michelle last night, whatever his feelings. To me, he appeared exactly the same as he did in the house: interested, but also extremely overwhelmed by the whole situation.

liz daniell : Stu was alright but I am glad he has gone he certainly did not deserve to win. I have looked at the forecast for the next one to go and can not understand why Jason is still in the house. Why after Victor went I was sure he would be the next one to go, what has gone wrong. Please tell me.

cc : Davina interviews: Iris is spot on. Davina has lost her touch - No need to ask Michelle so many times if Stu and her were at it. Once was enough. She didn't tell Michelle that 2 weeks earlier she'd been favourite and now she seems to be under orders not to reveal Nadia's secret to anybody.

Jason says he'll make someone a good wife someday,and Dan agrees, saying he thought that of him the first time they met! Shell goes off to get some food. Jason is in the bedroom looking fondly at all his photos. Awww, bless.
