This afternoon, (Sunday 1 August) live on E4, Big Brother set the five remaining housemates a task: To create and perform a ventriloquist act with sock puppets.
The rules required each housemate to create a sock puppet named and based on another housemate currently in the house.
· Daniel's puppet was called Nadia
· Jason's puppet was called Dan
· Nadia's puppet was called Shell
· Shell's puppet was called Stu
· Stuart's puppet was called Jason
After the one-hour preparation time, each housemate performed their routine - complete with observational humour and no lip movement - in the garden.
The housemates laughed at each other's performances and even Jason, who was reluctant to take part at first, seemed to enjoy himself as he relished the opportunity to make fun of Dan and Nadia's close friendship. All five were successful and they passed the task.
The housemates will be rewarded with an ice-cream maker.
