Sergeants Jason and Michelle brought what will hopefully be one of the last laminates relating to the Boot Camp Task from the Diary Room this evening. They had just 30 minutes to get the troops up to scratch before Big Brigadier inspected them.
Accompanied by diagrams and broom handles to help them, the Privates had to go through a series of commands, such as "Attention", "At Ease", "Present Arms", "Slope Arms Left" etc. It was left up to the sergeants to decide the order that their troops displayed their prowess.
A short time ago, the Privates lined up at Big Brigadiers' command, and Private Shell demonstrated an immaculate series of manoevres. Michelle then summoned Private Dan, who perfomed as well as Shell, then Private Victor, Private Ahmed, Private Nadia and finally Private Stuart.
As Big Brigadier dismissed the troops, Private Nadia, who is suffering from nicotine withdrawal, fled into the Diary Room, after telling the sergeants she wasn't happy about being put last. (Stuart changed with her to keep the peace).
Boot Camp has been a real challenge for our unruly bunch, but what will the outcome be? All should be revealed in the next 24 hours.
